About Investment Pitch Deck / Business Plan

A pitch deck is a brief presentation used to provide an audience with a quick overview of your business plan. A pitch deck is mainly used during face-to-face or online meetings with potential investors, customers, partners, and co-founders. The purpose of a pitch deck is to convince a client to hire you.

More specifically, these are materials that clients can a) review on their own to understand why you’re worth hiring and b) have as accompanying materials with you in an in-person meeting where you will convince them to hire you.

The first step in a pitch deck would be to introduce the main idea behind the business, along with the team behind the business. The main problem that aims to be resolved through the said business should then be brought up, along with the solutions and their advantage.

Business model is an important element in pitch deck. It must include an approach to making profits, along with a schedule that entails when the revenues are expected to pour in. The investment part of the business model must then be elaborated upon. It must include a planned budget and the kind of money expected to be earned.

It is important that general etiquette is followed throughout the presentation of the pitch deck.
